New Made Item: The name BeVo weave comes from beteiligung (partnership) vorsteher, which was the merging of the two firms Lucas Vorsteher and Ewald Vorsteher from the German city of Wuppertal-Barmen. This style used a Jacquard weave loom, which made long strips of woven insignia using a card that was “read” by the loom repeatedly. The process was used for various sizes of cap, uniform, and shirt eagles.
This high-quality reproduction BeVo badge features a white embroidered Eagle with Swas on a black background, and represents the typical style used by an enlisted man in the German Panzerkorps (armored division). Worn over right breast pocket. Commonly worn on German M36, M40 & M43 WWII uniforms but could be sewn onto to bags, hats, non-issue jackets etc…
Perfect for completing your WWII German Impression!
