Description
Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice set of four Civil War Era photos, recently purchased from an estate sale. The first two are very nice examples of “Sixth Plate” tintype photos, which measure about 2.75 x 3.25 inch, and each show a Union / Federal soldier sitting in repose. This was a very common pose, as the cameras of the age took quite long to expose, so the individual would need to sit still for some time.
