Original Item: Only One Available. This is a really nice example of a pre WWII brown finished leather P.08 Luger pistol hardshell holster, which was still standard issue for many officers as well as police. This supple leather holster is maker marked and dated on the rear with:
FR&K VOEGELS
KOLN-DEUTZ
1936
Next to this it is marked with a Weimar style “Stick Eagle” Waffenamt inspection mark over WaA234.
The overall condition of the holster is very good, with supple brown leather, mostly intact heavy stitching, original loops, take down tool pocket, and pistol ejection strap. There is some separation in the seams, but the stitching looks to be intact, and there is no sideways movement.
The included wide brown leather “claw belt” is typical of the type worn by officers. It is 2 1/4 inches wide, and about 43 inches in overall length, and marked 202 / CROUPON by the buckle. It probably is adjustable from 34 to 40 inches. The leather is in good shape, with moderate wear, and no major cracks or other damage.
