Original Item: The Mk III Rear Sight Slide for the Vickers introduced a new adjustment knob. To engage the knob to raise or lower the sight, the knob had to be pushed in against a spring, allowing it to engage the slide nut, which transmitted the rotation to the pinion gear. This new design prevented accidental contact with the knob from disturbing the sight setting: the knob had to be deliberately pressed inwards to engage. This set allows one to replace damaged Mk III knob assemblies. It includes the knob, the spring, and the sight nut.
