Original Item: Selections vary in age from late WW2 through the early 1950s. Official designation of Pack, Field, Cargo M-1945 is constructed of sturdy OD#7 canvas. The cargo pack belongs to the original Combat Field Pack M-1945 set, but may also be separately used as a carrying bag.
Offered in surplus usable condition, free of major defects, but expect wear from age and use, and may have a musty smell from military MRT (mildew resistant treatment) and years of storage. Most show U.S. marking on outer flap and have the large instruction sheet printed on a white label inside the bag with drawings and detailed descriptions of how to pack and use the components. These were received as surplus out of Greece, so they may have Greek markings. Comes complete with web carry handle and canvas straps.

Pack, Field, Cargo and Pack, Field, Combat M-1944 were soon replaced by the very similar M-1945 version. But the combat and cargo packs of the two are not interchangeable.
