Description
The Colt Single Action Army is an iconic American revolver. Made in more than 30 calibers, the SAA was the standard revolver for the U.S. military from 1873-1892 and was the preferred sidearm of General George Patton throughout his career. It is also referred to as “The Gun That Won the West,” and the Peacekeeper. This SAA was made in 1911, locks up very tight, and the timing is great. It still has the original grips with 9 notches cut into them, significance unknown. Colt letter confirming manufacture date also included. Serial number: 316383
