NAGOYA ARSENAL TYPE 14 NAMBU

This Nagoya Arsenal Type 14 Nambu is a nice little piece of history. Made with a recoil-spring action and chambered in 8mm, the Type 14 was used by soldiers extensively through the Second Sino-Japanese War and World War II. At the start of his gun-making career, William B. Ruger duplicated the Type 14 in his garage, later incorporating parts of the design into his own creations. This single-action model is rated in good condition overall, with some moderate pitting on the right side and top of the frame and some light pitting on the left side of the frame. The serial number (58669), along with the “17.11” marking and first series mark on the left side of the serial number, indicate this pistol was manufactured in November 1942. This Nambu comes with two 8-round magazines and a leather holster, which is in fair condition. It is cracked and worn, the straps are broken, and there is heavy wear on the inside.
