A single-shot, lever-action rifle, the Ruger No.1 is built around a compact and simple, yet strong, falling-block breech mechanism with artillery-style breechblock. The sculpted receiver is robust and sturdy, offering rigid support for the barrel, stock, and sliding breech block, while the Ruger’s patented Scope Mounting System ensures scope bases never get loose. The sliding tang safety is easily accessible and visible. Chambered in 338 Win Mag, this model is in very good condition. There are some very light dents and marks on the stock, a mark on the end area of the barrel, and bluing wear on the action lever.
