“The Sig Sauer P228 is considered to be one of the first modern “”compact”” pistols. It is a scaled-down variant of the P226 and was the inspiration for the popular P229.
This pistol is a police trade-in. It is cosmetically worn from years of duty use with the finish severely worn on the slide, scratches on the slide, nicks and scratches on the frame, pitting inside and outside of the barrel, pitting inside the slide, and pitting on internal parts of the frame. Two of the grip screws are also missing. Despite the imperfections, this is still a trustworthy pistol for personal protection or range use.
Double-action-only. Made in West Germany.
One 13-round magazine included.”
