Description
This Winchester Model 42 is a vintage pump-action shotgun chambered in 410 bore with a 4-round capacity and a 26″ barrel. Originally manufactured from 1933 to 1963, the Model 42 is essentially a scaled-down version of the Model 12 and the first shotgun chambered specifically for 410 bore. Dubbed by its maker as “Everyone’s Sweetheart,” the Model 42 is lightweight, fast-handling, and low-recoil. This model is in very good condition, with small dings on the wood, minor marks on the top of the receiver and barrel, and wear on the mag tube. It has a 3″ chamber and a skeet barrel. A plate on the buttstock reads W 1687 from USRAC Inventory of the Browning Collection.
