Description
Known as “The Rifleman’s Rifle,” the Winchester Model 70 is a bolt-action sporting rifle first introduced in 1936. This iconic rifle has a receiver machined from bar stock steel, one-piece bolt, and a checkered wood stock, as well as two forward-locking lugs and a Mauser-type claw extractor. Other features of the Model 70 include a 3-position wing-type safety, machined steel trigger guard, and adjustable trigger. The serial number (454776) indicates this Model 70 was manufactured in 1959. It remains in good condition overall, with minor scuffs throughout the stock.
