The Bulldog is a double-action five shot revolver introduced by Charter Arms in 1973 and now considered their trademark weapon. Designed to be concealable in spite of its larger bore calibers it sports no sharp edges. Bulldogs in current production feature a stainless steel frame four point cylinder lock-up full hammer block safety system and barrel which threads directly into its frame for added strength. Current Bulldogs may be available with rubber or wood grips tapered barrel or concealed hammer.
