Sabatti Rover Scout Features
The cold-hammer forged barrel makes use of a traditional rifling, out of manufacturing processes that have been further improved, and vaunts all the accuracy Sabatti rifles are famed for. Of particular importance, the barrel comes fitted with a barrel extension which allows ease of barrel interchangeability, without any need for adjusting the head space. The Sabatti Rover Scout barrel has a 18 mm (0.71”) diameter, matte black finish and ends with a 5/8”-24 UNEF thread with Sabatti’s Improved Birdcage flash hider and a thread protector steel nut. The action’s picatinny rail extends to the first third of the barrel, which has adjustable iron sights with an orange fiber optic front sight. Available barrel lengths are 16” and 18”. The Sabatti Rover Scout rifle comes with a sturdy, dark grey laminated wood stock which combines ruggedness and lightness with improved ergonomics ending in a soft recoil pad which helps tame the heavier calibers kick. The stock accepts AICS magazines and has a flush, black polymer, removable cheek rest. Cheek rests of three different heights are available as optional, as well as a kit of shims to adjust the stock length of pull. A multipurpose steel plate is embedded in the forearm, allowing the mount of bipods or other accessories.
