Carbine gas system; direct impingement. Pinned low profile gas block, CNC machined of 4140 hardened steel with mil-spec heavy phosphate coating. Daniel Defense flash hider. Bolt carrier group is M16 profile, chrome-lined and properly staked gas key. H buffer. Daniel Defense RIS II MK18 aluminum handguard.
