The Beretta 96 semi-automatic handgun is almost identical to the Beretta 92FS but chambered in 40 SW rather than 9mm. Like the 92FS the Beretta 96 still features an open slide design that virtually eliminates stove-piping. The pistols front 3-dot sight is interchangeable and a Picatinny rail offers room for a bit of customization. The Beretta 96 is recommended for law enforcement as well as home and self-defense.
