Original Item: This is another one of those items that only IMA is likely to find and bring to you. These are original, unissued (of course), leather gaskets for almost the entire series of butt stock oilers designed for British firearms, extending at least up through the L1A1 rifle.
The full range of oilers starts with the Mk II brass oiler, very rare, up through the Mk V Bakelite and the later Mk V Celluloid versions. Later in the war and afterwards, many of the oilers were included in various cleaning kits for guns not originally intended for butt stock oilers.
