The Colt Single Action Army is a family of single-action revolvers chambered in more than 30 different calibers. The standard U.S. military revolver from 1873-1892, the Single Action Army was used in the Mexican-American War, among others. The revolvers have either a 3″, 4.75″, 5.5, or 7.5 barrel. The Gun That Won the West was also the preferred side arm of General George Patton throughout his career.
