Further improving on ergonomics and reliability, the Glock G17 Gen 5 was introduced in 2017. A semi-automatic handgun chambered in 9mm with a 17-round capacity, its lightweight design, reliability, and ease of use make it popular among law enforcement. Improved features include an ambidextrous slide stop, nDLC finish on the barrel and slide, a flared magazine well, and the reintroduction of the half-moon shaped cutout on the front bottom of the grip.
