Up for sale is an excellent condition Krag-Jørgensen 1898 Rifle with United States Springfield Armory markings chambered in .30-40 Krag caliber. The rifle is in exceptional shape for a military surplus rifle, with light gouging on the stocks, bluing intact throughout and a desirable patina developing around the receiver. Bore is also in very excellent condition with strong rifling as pictured. This is the full length rifle variant with Springfield Armory markings on the receiver, serial number 4042xx. Rifle also has a 1902 Cartouche on the left side near the trigger guard. Comes with a new production leather sling as pictured.
