This C&R Fully Transferable Thompson Submachine Gun offered for sale is a West Hurley Model of 1928, serial number 680A, and was manufactured in 1977 by Auto-Ordnance in West Hurley, New York.
680A
Overall, this Thompson is in good condition, with various scratches to the finish, edge wear, and some freckling present on the receiver. The weapon has a Thompson marked, pinned Cutts compensator installed, and a protected, West Hurley style rear sight. West Hurley rear sights have M1917 Rifle ladder inserts, which are adjustable for elevation only. The grip hanger has a slight downward slant where the vertical foregrip is attached.
The weapon comes with one Taiwanese L-Drum (50 round drum). The Taiwanese drums are much more reliable than West Hurley or currently manufactured Kahr drums. This would be an excellent shooter gun for a beginning collector, or for someone who wants to preserve their higher condition Thompson, and have another one to use for Thompson shoots and subgun matches.
