Original Item: In addition to acquiring the last of all the known WWII helmet stocks from the government of Finland. That included 100% genuine German manufactured WWII type M40 steel combat helmets that were produced by German WWII helmet manufacturer Hans Römer Fabrik from Neu-Ulm (Donau-Freiberg), we also got Finnish manufactured leather helmet liners.
Each liner is offered in unissued condition and varies in color from white, grey and yellow. The chinstraps are grey leather with a steel buckle. The method of attaching the liner to the shell was different than typical German WW2, as no split pins/washers were used. Instead, the Finns decided to directly rivet the liners to the shell. We do not offer rivets for sale.
Sizing- we offer a range of sizes, and sell these liners based on the interior stamped size, A general rule of thumb is; size 55/56cm liners are used inside size 62 shells, size 57/58cm liners are used inside size 64/66 shells, and size 59cm and above liners are used in 66/68 shells.
ONE LINER PER ORDER. We show multiple liners so you may see the variations in color and style.
