Original German WWII Luftwaffe Bronze Grade Front Flying Clasp for Transport and Glider Pilots

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice condition German WWII Luftwaffe Front Flying Clasp in Bronze Grade, as issued to Transport and Glider pilots who had flown 20 missions. Officially this version of the award is termed the Frontflugspange für Transport- und Luftlandflieger in Bronze in German. This example is in very nice condition, with some age-related oxidation, which gives it a lovely aged patina. The central device is blackened, as standard, and shows only slight wear. The back clip is intact, and works beautifully. It has traces of the original bronze wash on the front and back, which we thought possibly could be gold, but those are extremely rare.
