Original Item: Only One Available. Made very much in the U.S. Style, this is a Mexican produced cutlass, as used during the Mexican-American war, which lasted April 25, 1846 until February 2, 1848. It looks a lot like U.S. edged weapons produced circa 1822, but the thumb piece on the grip is distinctively Mexican. It comes with a very nice scabbard, though it definitely looks to be of later manufacture.
