Original Item: These are the original 1860 Pattern Prussian Horse Bits from the time when “Cavalry was King”. Used through the second half of the 19th century, including the Franco-Prussian War, through WWI and even in use into the early years of WWII.
Distinctive Prussian style, great German 19th century quality, sold to Cavalry units all over the world. Stored for years before release from military stores. Regrets no leather tack available. Excellent condition considering they are probably over one hundred years in age.
