Original Item: Refurbished. These are original Remington Rolling Block Carbines Model 1869 in .43 cal. which were delivered to Egypt. Many years ago, in the 1960s and 1970s, these old Rifles were sold as surplus and were available to the U.S. Collector as late as 1992, but have been relatively unavailable since.
Now, what few remained have been refurbished with new woodwork and/or repairs and are being offered as NON-FIRING Display items. No firing pin or extractor are included. Again, these are not for shooting.
