Original Items: Only One Set of 5 helmets available. Purchased from the family of a WW2 veteran, this fantastic set, offered in excellent condition is comprised of the following five genuine World War Two flying helmets:
– 2 x – WWII USAAF Summer flight helmet type AN-H-15 made by BATES SHOE COMPANY Inc Size Large offered in excellent condition.
– WWII Army Air Force Summer flight helmet type AN-H-15 made by Society Brand Hat Co. Inc Size Large offered in excellent condition.
– WW2 USAAF A-10A summer flying helmet. Khaki cotton twill flying helmet with black rubber ear pieces. The inner forehead section and headphone cups are lined with chamois leather. The helmet has three leather loops on the rear to retain goggles. Two of these loops are secured with press studs. There is a buckle and snap fastening chin strap with velour padding. Brass press stud fittings for an oxygen mask are also present. Attached is a rare Army Air Forces Type A-1 detachable visor. Both in used but very good condition.
– WW2 U.S. Navy Slote & Klein Navy Summer Flying Helmet, Contract No. N288s-27405. Size Medium. Very Good Condition.
