Original Item: One of Kind. Just acquired from a European World War One Collection, when first viewed in the photographs we thought this was a TRENCH CLUB. However, once the Collection arrived it was clear that we were mistaken. This is in fact a field DRUM STICK of short stubby proportions, measuring just 12″ in overall length. The is a horizontal hole in the grip to accommodate a leather wrist thong and along it’s wood shaft are carved the three dates 1915, 1916 and 1917. Additionally it is marked with three “III” and an “X”.
