Produced from 1949-1968 the Remington Model 11-48 was Remington’s first “New Generation” post WWII shotgun designed to replace the old Model 11. They were reliable, solidly built shotguns and saw extensive use by hunters nationwide as well as limited military use in both Korea and Vietnam. This model is chambered 12 gauge with a full choke barrel and 2 ¾” chamber. Light marks on the wood stock/forend, barrel, and receiver. S/N: 5102325
