Chambered in 9mm and rated for use with +P ammunition, this Ruger American Pistol Competition is an upgraded version of the standard American, ready for competitive shooting. It sports a rigid, one-piece, precision-machined, black nitride, stainless steel chassis with integral frame rails and fire control housing. Features include an ambidextrous slide stop and mag release, inspection port, and safe and easy tool-free takedown. The slide is drilled and tapped for direct mounting of red dot reflex optics using #6-48 mounting screws. This model is also equipped with fully adjustable, serrated rear target and fiber optic front sights. Purchase includes the original hard case, manual, and three extra backstraps in varying sizes.
