A single-shot, lever-action rifle, the Ruger No.1 is built around a compact and simple, yet strong, falling-block breech mechanism with artillery-style breechblock. The sculpted receiver is robust and sturdy, offering rigid support for the barrel, stock, and sliding breech block, while the Ruger’s patented Scope Mounting System ensures scope bases never get loose. The sliding tang safety is easily accessible and visible. Chambered in 7x57mm Mauser, this model is in very good condition, ships in the original cardboard case, and includes the owner’s manual and S100RH high scope rings.
