A single-shot, lever-action rifle, the Ruger No. 1 is built around a compact and simple, yet strong, falling-block breech mechanism with artillery-style breechblock. The sculpted receiver is robust and sturdy, offering rigid support for the barrel, stock, and sliding breech block, while the Ruger’s patented Scope Mounting System ensures scope bases never get loose. The sliding tang safety is easily accessible and visible. Chambered in 44 Rem Mag, this model is in excellent condition. It has a Skinner peep rear sight with a fiber optic front sight, and the original sights are included, along with scope rings and the owner’s manual.
