We have a used Simson Suhl Merkel Model 47E Single Shot Side by Side Shotgun for sale. This shotgun comes chambered in 12GA with two 28″ side by side barrels. This comes as shown in pictures. Simson & Co began manufacturing guns circa 1856 and continued until 1936 when during WWII Hitler took over the company. Under Hilter’s regime Simson firearms were made until 1945 at the end of the war, when Russians took control until 1952 when the company reverted back to the Germans. These are basically a Merkel produced shotgun retailed in Eastern Germany. SUPERB quality whatever way you look at them. They always seem handle extremely well with excellent balance. This particular model features engraving on the receiver and trigger guard, and was made approx December 1970. This is in Very Good Used Condition with some minor handling wear.
