SMITH & WESSON MODEL 40

Favored for its lightweight and hammerless design, the Smith & Wesson Model 40 is a snub-nose, J-frame revolver originally manufactured as the Centennial in 1952 then renamed five years later as the Model 40. Chambered in 38 Special +P, with a 5-round capacity, the frame and cylinder are made from carbon steel.
