The new Tristar Compact Shotgun, imported by Tristar Arms, debuts as an interesting blend of tactical and practical shotgun features for the American market. Combined, the Tristar Compact features a 20-inch barrel, with just a 30-inch overall length. Chambered for up to 3-inch shells, the 12-gauge shotgun is gas operated and utilizes Beretta/Benelli Mobile Choke threads. The gun ships with two, five-round magazines, but larger aftermarket Saiga magazines are readily available.
Tristar is no stranger to newer-type shotgun designs, as this gun comes on the heels of the Tristar KRX, billed as an AR-type semi-auto shotgun design.
