New Made Item: This fantastic reproduction M1941 cap is copied from an original WWII cap. World War II U.S. Army M41 HBT Field Utility Cap, WWII OD Green Herringbone Twill (HBT) cotton construction.
First issue fatigue and field cap made in sage green HBT. Patterned from original, unissued and unaltered samples, our caps feature 8 pleats and 4 air vents in the body, and the bill is reinforced with 8 rows of stitching. This cap was initially intended for armored troops and mechanics, but was quickly adopted by all army personnel. The HBT cap was worn by all troops from late 1942 on wards. The bill is approximately 2 inches long.
