New Made Item: As seen in HBO’s THE PACFIC (which IMA proudly supplied). This machete was officially designated as the U.S.M.C Medical Corpsmen Knife it is in fact a heavy 11″ Bolo Bladed Machete issued for the Jungle Warfare in the Pacific Theater during WW2.
Our fine replica is comprised of a sturdy wooden hilt secured correctly with three heavy brass rivets. For added authenticity, the tempered steel sharpened blade bears an engraved original WW2 Manufacturers name, state address, and U.S.M.C. Machete comes complete with thick brown leather scabbard with correct belt hooks on rear with tie down leg thong. The scabbard is also is marked with WW2 Maker’s name, “U.S.M.C.” and dated “43” for added realism. The heavy-duty hand forged high carbon steel blade is 3/16″ thick with a 3/16″ thick full tang in the original early “bright” finish.
A stunning and sturdy reproduction of one of the U.S. Marines most essential Machetes which were designed and issued specifically for the Japanese War.
