Marketed as “The Gun That Won the West” the, the Winchester Model 1873 was a popular lever-action rifle in the late 1800’s through the early 1900’s and an American classic in every respect. The Model 1873 was one of Winchesters first widely purchased designs and helped cement them as a legend in the firearms industry.
This Model 1873 was produced in 1895 and features a 24″ octagon barrel and a flip up rear aperture sight. The condition is fair as there is wear/pitting on the receiver & barrel, marks/dents throughout the wood, and patina over most of the blued finish. S/N: 496301B
