WINCHESTER MODEL 70

Known as “The Rifleman’s Rifle,” the Winchester Model 70 is a bolt-action sporting rifle first introduced in 1936. This iconic rifle has a receiver machined from bar stock steel, one-piece bolt, and a checkered wood stock, as well as two forward-locking lugs and a Mauser-type claw extractor. Other features of the Model 70 include a 3-position wing-type safety, machined steel trigger guard, and adjustable trigger. This rifle has a 26″ heavy barrel and sling rings. The serial number (521649) indicates it was manufactured in 1961 and remains in very good condition.
