Description
Original Item: Earliest version of the Sten sear, being machined from solid steel stock. This required numerous machining and finishing operations and considerable time, and the Mk I was replaced with a pressed or stamped version before long.
A Sten collection interested in the development of the gun should have a sample of the Mk I, and anyone shooting a Sten should use the Mk I, which is more durable than the Mk II.
British WW2 manufacture, interchangeable with all marks of the Sten gun. Original parts are hard to come by, act quickly.
